When do puppies go home?
Puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks old or as recommended by the Vet.
Do you choose puppies by colour?
No. Puppies are matched to homes based on temperament, suitability, and lifestyle fit rather than colour alone.
Do puppy colours change as they grow?
Yes. Coat tone, pattern definition, and eye colour can change significantly as puppies mature.
What do you mean by “visual colour”?
Visual colour describes how a puppy looks at a point in time. Genetic colour explains how colour is inherited. Both are important and can differ.
Can merle affect eye colour?
Yes. Merle can result in blue, green, or mixed eye colours. These traits are cosmetic and do not affect health.
Do you DNA test your dogs?
Yes. DNA testing is used to guide responsible breeding decisions and provide clarity around health and colour inheritance.
Do you ship puppies?
We are happy to assist with puppy transport at the buyer’s expense.
For interstate or long-distance placements, we recommend Paws Headed Home, a premium pet transport service. Transport arrangements, communication, and payment are made directly between the puppy buyer and the transport provider.
We are happy to coordinate collection times and ensure puppies are well-prepared for travel, but we do not organise or manage transport on behalf of buyers.
